DESCRIPTION:Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club and Nordic Racers are excited to offer this workshop for Zone4 users with a focus on race file management. The workshop will cover event registration page creation through to posting of results for races in all formats. It is designed for race committees\, Club Executive and clubs wishing to offer sanctioned events in the future. \nPrerequisites \nAn interest in officiating.\nMinimum age of 16 years. \nCourse Schedule \nSaturday\, November 3 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \n\nBuilding an event registration (different levels and formats of events\, including data validation and confirmation lists)\nRace timing (all aspects of setup and preparation for all race formats\, including sprints)\nTiming hardware options and use\nZone4 timing rental and purchase options\n\nSunday\, November 4 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. \n\nPreparation of race file for a sample race\nSample races (including equipment setup and awards)\nPost-race questions\n\nTo Bring \nPlease bring a laptop or pad computer with Google Chrome installed (available at https://www.google.ca/chrome). \nCourse Conductor \nPatrick Stewart-Jones (from Zone4) \nRegistration \nRegister online at https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=19282.
