The workshop will cover event registration page creation through to posting of results for races in all formats. DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Club Buy Night and AGM take place at Coast Outdoors (formerly Deep Cove Outdoors)\, which will be open all evening. The AGM starts at 7:30 p.m. and we should be done by 8:30. This is your opportunity to find out more about your club and meet your club executive. There will be a draw for two entries to the P’ayakentsut for those in attendance at the end of the AGM. \nDue to the closure of Sigge’s\, the annual Ski Swap will now take place in conjunction with the AGM and Buy Night. It takes place from 6:00 p.m. until the start of the AGM at 7:30. Please bring your equipment you wish to sell with you and ensure that it is marked with your name\, phone number and a price. Do not bring equipment beforehand (as was done at Sigge’s). You will not be able to leave it at the store. A covered area has been allocated for the swap. You must remain with and monitor your own equipment; this is not a drop-off service. \nDrinks and snacks will be provided. Graham is one of the most knowledgeable experts on this topic in Canada. He spent several years as leader of the National Team waxing and technical services.\nGraham gives this course as a weekend course organized by CCBC. SUMMARY:2018 Sigge's P'ayakentsut
DESCRIPTION:The Sigge’s P’ayakentsut\, or P’ayak for short\, is truly an event for all ages and all levels of cross country skiers. Traversing Olympic legacy trails as well as old growth forests\, the loppet offers participants a chance to train\, to meet new friends\, to enjoy the rugged wild beauty of the Callaghan Valley\, and to enjoy a what is truly a sport for life – cross country skiing. \nThe 2018 Sigge’s P’ayak takes place at Whistler Olympic Park\, the site of the 2010 Winter Olympic/Paralympic Games. It is designed to be fun and family friendly\, with a loppet for adults and teens and the P’ayak Mini loppet for kids (aged 5-12). Loppet distances are 15\, 30 and 50 km and about 5 km for the Mini. So that all club members (parents and kids) can take part\, the Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club will not offer any ski sessions at Cypress on Saturday (and there will also be a special Fun Day at Hollyburn on Sunday). \nParents\, please consider volunteering if you are not taking part in the loppet. Lots of help will be needed to make this event a success. \nRegistration is available on Zone4 until February 22 (midnight). Follow the event on Facebook.

DESCRIPTION:Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club is pleased to be the host for the 2018 Teck BC Cup #1 this season. We will also integrate two days of Teck Coast Cup events (with club banner points for clubs in the Coast region) and\, for those born in 2003 (Juvenile) or 2004 (Midget)\, the BC Winter Games Trials for Zones 3\, 4 and 5 (on Saturday only). \nParking:  A limited number of parking passes for the upper parking lot (P3) will be available to each club\, which will allow parking from the venue opening at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Please send one club representative to pick yours up at the race office on Saturday morning. All others must park below in lots P1 or P2. You will be able to drop off passengers and equipment near the upper lot turnaround area before parking below. \nHollyburn participants:  This event is part of the Hollyburn program (but still requires participants to register for the races) and there will be no sessions at Cypress on this particular weekend. Parents\, please consider signing up to volunteer. Note\, the minimum age to enter is five years old. DESCRIPTION:The Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club invites you to join us for this year’s Teck Coast Cup #1 at Whistler Olympic Park – the site of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games! The race is designed as an introductory race to start the season off\, with relatively short distances ranging from just under one kilometre for Atoms to 7.5 kilometres for adults.
