Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club and Nordic Racers are excited to offer this workshop for Zone4 users with a focus on race file management. The workshop will cover event registration page creation through to posting of results for races in all formats. It is designed for race committees, Club Executive and clubs wishing to offer sanctioned events in the future.

Prerequisites

An interest in officiating.
Minimum age of 16 years.

Course Schedule

Saturday, November 3 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Building an event registration (different levels and formats of events, including data validation and confirmation lists)
• Race timing (all aspects of setup and preparation for all race formats, including sprints)
• Timing hardware options and use
• Zone4 timing rental and purchase options

Sunday, November 4 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Preparation of race file for a sample race
• Sample races (including equipment setup and awards)
• Post-race questions
